Russia, Kazakhstan and Belorussia formed a Customs Union in July 2010 with the intention to introduce “free movement of goods”. To make this possible they created ““Customs Union Certificate of Conformity with National standards”. The mandatory “Customs Union Certificate of Conformity with Customs Union Technical Regulations” will be introduced the first of January 2012.If a company posses the “Customs Union Certificate of Conformity with Customs Union Technical Regulations” then they may legally export to Russia, Kazakhstan and Belorussia. In December the Customs Union will produce a final list of product for which the first Customs Union Technical Regulations Certificates can be issued.
The TR Technical Regulations Customs Union Certificate of Conformity is just like the TR Technical Regulations “Certificate of Conformity”, Declaration of Conformity and the Gost R Certificate of Conformity a Certificate of Quality. These Certificates declare that the available documentation is corresponding the legal laws and regulations of Russia. If these Certificates are issued on a company outside the Russian Federation then these documents are used to pass the border and to show that their products are in correspondence with the legal laws and regulations. Companies inside the Russian Federation also have Certificates just to show that their products are in correspondence with the legal laws and regulations.
